Geoffrey Boycott has reacted to Home Secretary's praise of his "snail鈥檚 pace" in an interview with the Financial Times.

Theresa May said she admired Boycott as a batsman "whose priority was the occupation of the crease, fastidiously accumulating runs at a snail鈥檚 pace, and breaking down the opposition though his sheer determination not to make a mistake."
