Cumbrian schoolboys dig up 'priceless' gold treasure

A group of Cumbrian schoolboys have discovered a rare golden ornament thought to be 4,000 years old.

The boys, aged between seven and ten, were taking part in an archaeological dig at Kirkhaugh when they saw a glint of gold.

Altogether Archaeology project leader Paul Frodsham, who was there at the time, said the find was "priceless".
