The 'surreal nature' of Middle East peace talks
The Guardian's Egypt correspondent, Patrick Kingsley describes the scene in the Cairo hotel where representatives from Israel and Gaza were holding talks.
It was, he said, a study in contrasts - exhausted negotiators on one hand, delighted Egyptian wedding parties on the other and a smattering of spooks to keep the press pack in order.
