Our Hurricane Bertha hit wedding was 'brilliant'
A bride whose big day was gatecrashed by the remnants of Hurricane Bertha says it was "brilliant", despite flooding.
Richard Owen and Katy Lomas, from South Yorkshire, were exchanging vows at Wentworth Castle in Barnsley when a huge downpour suddenly started.
But they decided to embrace the wet weather and pose for pictures in the floodwater.
Bride Katy said, "We were happy we could have a reception at all... It wasn't ruined at all, it was changed."
Photographer Jon Dennis, whose photos have since gone viral on the internet, added, "I knew something unique was happening... it did break one of my cameras in the process but it's been worth it."
