Leicester mum appeals for son鈥檚 murderer
A Leicester mum has told 大象传媒 Radio Leicester that she will not rest until her son's murderer faces justice.
It is now a year since Sylvester Koroma and his friends went to a music gig in Birmingham. The 35-year old dad-of-two was shot in a nightclub and died of his injuries.
Although several arrests have been made, no-one has ever been charged with his murder, and police say his "mates" are still refusing to come forward, despite holding vital information. It's hoped a new five thousand pound reward will encourage them.
Sylvester's mum Eunice has been speaking to 大象传媒 Radio Leicester's Jo Hornby. In this extract she starts by describing the moment she found out she had lost him...this interview is followed by an excerpt with DCI Sab Johal from West Midlands CID who is in charge of the investigation.
