Former NATO commander: 'The Islamic state doesn't want any friends'

Former NATO commander, Rear Admiral Chris Parry, believes that "light amounts of army and special forces on the ground" is the way forward for the United States and United Kingdom in Iraq.

He says the west "must continue this attack on this barbarous organisation" with regards to Islamic forces in Iraq.

However, Mr Parry says that the US and UK must leave a "light footprint" in the country after how we were previously "bogged down" in Afghanistatan and Iraq.
