Community Shop With A Difference
A new shop with a difference has been given the go ahead in Loughborough this week. Charnwood Borough Council has approved spending up to 120-thousand pounds to support the development of a Community Shop to help people who are struggling to make ends meet. The shop will offer savings of up to 70 per cent off normal retail prices by selling surplus products that larger retailers and brands can't use. It will also give some residents access to good quality, low-cost food and advice. 大象传媒 Radio Leicester's Bridget Blair has been to meet Councillor David Snart, Cabinet member for Neighbourhood Services to find out more.
