Schools set to study 100 Objects

The British Museum has teamed up with Department for Education to teach history using 100 objects.
A digital website has been created for the project in connection with the new history curriculum, aimed at pupils studying Key Stages 1-3.
Neil McGregor, director of the British Museum and presenter of the 大象传媒 Radio 4 programme The History of the World in 100 Objects, told the Today programme's Justin Webb that children "can tour the museums of the country from the classroom".
The objects cover different periods of history and come from museums across the UK; one being Guy Fawkes's lantern, currently on display at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.
