Recovering drug addict on getting her children back
5 live's Victoria Derbyshire spoke to recovering drug addict Emily in 2011, at the Manor Women's Project in Walsall - a hostel that has helped many young women addicted to heroin and crack cocaine.
She had just had a little baby boy Preston, and her daughter, Lacey, was one years old, and said that she was still taking crack whilst pregnant with her new born.
Social services took Emily's children off her, but her Mum has since been allowed to foster them. 5 live caught up with Emily, who said she "never knew how to cope" with two children when on drugs, but is now 11 months clean and is "optimistic" about getting them back.
