Legal battle: Mickey Mouse vs Deadmau5
Electro DJ, Deadmau5, has entered a legal battle with Disney over his mouse-ears logo, which the entertainment corporation has said infringes its Mickey Mouse trademark.
Intellectual Property Media Lawyer, Steve Kuncewitz said that Disney's action is trying to stop Deadmau5 encroaching on "a highly prized brand".
He added that the DJ is playing "a very smart PR game" by "taking on Disney in the public eye", but he may not fight the case all the way.
