'Early onset dementia sufferer: 'there wasn't enough support'

The Alzheimer's Society has told 5 live Sunday Breakfast the number of people in the UK suffering from early onset Dementia is more than double previous estimates. There are now 40 thousand under 65's who have the disease. That's up from 17 thousand in 2007. Joy Watson was diagnosed with early onset dementia on her 55th birthday and said initially there wasn't enough support specifically tailored for early onset sufferers, but that is changing.
