Richard III reinterment
When King Richard III was slain on Bosworth Field in 1485 there was one universal, catholic and apostolic church. He was buried in the Greyfriars Church, Leicester according to the rites of that church.... or so we assume. But come March next year Richard will find a resting place across the way in the Cathedral Church of St. Martinan Anglican church. Between then and now we have had the Reformation. The Church of England still terms itself a Catholic church but it stands apart from the Roman Catholic church. The services marking the reinterment will take place over a week and we can now reveal that some very high profile priests from both churches will be participating.
