Vicar at Manchester dogs' home: 'People from London have travelled up'
Vicar, Mike McGurk, praised the "Mancunian spirit" and the people from London who have travelled up to offer help at the Manchester dogs' home after it was set on fire.
He lives 200 yards away from the dogs home and set up the local church as a central point for people to donate food and offer support to the affected dogs.
More than 拢800,000 has now been raised for the dog's home in Manchester where the fire killed at least 60 animals last night. Another 150 dogs were rescued, and are now being cared for at a home in Cheshire.
