The 66-year-old Oxo advert star and Loose Women panellist told the Sunday Mirror she wanted one last Christmas with her family, and then pass away "the natural way".

Caller Barry, from North Yorkshire, said he faced a similar "dreadful situation" in 2001 when his partner Eileen, who had aggressive breast cancer, decided to stop treatment.
