Why are thousands protesting in Hong Kong?
Reaction from Hong Kong as thousands of protesters take to the streets in a show of support for the democracy movement.
Thousands have joined pro-democracy protests which have spread in Hong Kong on China's 65th National Day. The protesters want China to withdraw plans to vet candidates for the next leadership election in the region (scheduled for 2017). Nuala McGovern hears from some of the demonstrators who have been challenging Beijing and asks them how far they are willing to go in their protest.
