Henry Winkler: dyslexia left me 'humiliated'

Actor, Henry Winkler, best known as 'the Fonz' from 'Happy Days', has spoken about battling dyslexia and how we should help children with learning difficulties.

He was speaking from the Maple Hayes Dyslexia School in Lichfield, which uses icons to form words instead of sounds. Mr Winkler believes adults have a responsibility to encourage children with dyslexia as "every child learns in a different way".

He also spoke about how he struggled to come to terms with his dyslexia when during script readings, he was left "humiliated" as he would "stumble all the time" when trying to read words.
