Why: "Harry Belafonte鈥檚 voice touched something deep in my soul. A remarkable vocal range, a smoky-yet-honeyed quality鈥ven now it never fails to give me goose-bumps... Playing any Belafonte track reminds me of long, happy summers, climbing trees, running barefoot and generally making a nuisance of myself. It would be great to see Harry Belafonte in your Hall of Fame. He really is not played on the radio enough."
