Another stunning historical find in Leicestershire!

Having discovered Richard III, you would think it a tall order for the University of Leicester's Archaeology Department to dig up anything else as significant. Nevertheless, archaeologists have describe being left 'shell-shocked' by enormity of their latest discovery of the decorated bronze remains of an Iron Age chariot. Dating from at least 200BC, the archaeologists found the remains during their ongoing excavation of the Burrough Hill Iron Age hillfort, near Melton Mowbray.
