90 year old Iby is a mother of 2, a step mother of 2 more children and a grandmother of 4. She鈥檚 worked in Civil defence, been a Textile Designer, an Audience Researcher and in her last job before she retired she headed a department in Local Government. She did her first University Degree at the age of 50 and followed it with a Masters Degree when she was 70. Oh...and she鈥檚 also an Auschwitz Survivor. She didn鈥檛 speak publically about her war time experiences until 2010 and has since devoted her life to telling people her story. Her granddaughter Julia now lives with Iby in Leeds they sat down to talk about how Iby chose not to be defined by her past.
