Electric Corby, the organisation behind a network of electric vehicle charging points in the town, says enthusiasm for the technology is growing across Northamptonshire. According to the DVLA Northamptonshire is in 17th place, out of 150 UK locations, for the registration of electric vehicles. Later this month Corby Borough Council will reserve more spaces in the car park beside the Cube and swimming pool for electric vehicle charging. From the 20th of November there'll be five parking bays for electric vehicle use, up from three, and the council is also taking possession of four electric cars to add to their own fleet of vehicles.
