How long could Oscar Pistorius spend in prison?

South African legal expert Emma Sadler summarises how much of the five year sentence Oscar Pistorius is likely to spend in prison.

The paralympic and olympic athlete has been sentenced to a five year maximum sentence for the killing of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013.

Last month he was cleared of her murder but found guilty of culpable homicide or manslaughter

He's also been given a suspended prison sentence for breaching firearms laws.
