Friends of the Earth: Bees help 'make life worth living'

A National Pollinator Strategy is being set out by the Environment Minister Lizz Truss to try to save the declining bee population. As part of the strategy the public are being asked not to mow their lawns.

Paul de Zylva is a campaigner at Friends of the Earth who have been heavily involved with the plans. When asked what a world without bees would be like, Paul said: "Tomato on your pizza, jam in your porridge. These are the things that make life worth living and eating."
