Prince Charles spoof: Australian host reveals true story
Prince Charles has recorded a spoof tribute to Australian TV show, which is celebrating its 40th birthday, but which back in 1977 saw its nervous host Molly Meldrum deliver a host of fluffed lines.
Molly Meldrum spoke to Stephen Nolan and explain what really happened 37 years ago. He revealed that he had just returned from filming an interview with the Sex Pistols in London, and that the footage was labelled "Never to be seen again", before leaking out several years later.
He revealed how he found out about the spoof tribute, and said that everyone is having a big laugh about it in Australia.
