The second funniest person in the world
Mathew Bannister meets a man who's just been voted the second funniest person in the world. He comes from Pakistan, a country not best known for producing stand up comics. Saad Haroon was born in Karachi and despite his family's protests, decided to devote his life to making people laugh. He became one of the first ever comedians to tour the country and created a TV programme that drew comparisons with the American satirical programme "the Daily Show". Now based in the US, Saad's biggest achievement to date came last month at a competition called "Laugh Factory - funniest person in the world": He came second. Matthew asked him if he was disappointed not to win.
