Male eating disorder sufferer on weight loss 'addiction'
The number of men admitted to hospital with an eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia has risen by 50% in the last three years, figures show.
Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) show 120 men have been admitted in the year 2013-14, with figures likely to rise at the end of the year.
Daniel, 24, said he "cut back on calories" at the age of 15, and found the sudden weight loss "addictive."
He told 5 live Daily that although his condition had improved following therapy, his "gut reaction" when stressed was to "skip a meal".
