Internet troll 'embarrassed' by 'pathetic' messages

A convicted internet troll has warned young people of the dangers of posting abuse on social media telling them "don't think you can get away with it".

Isabella Sorley, was jailed for abuse she posted on Twitter to Caroline Criado-Perez, who was leading a campaign for a female figure to appear on a Bank of England note.

Sorley, who was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison under the Malicious Communications Act, posted messages including "Go kill yourself" and "I've only just got out of prison and would happily do more time to see you berried!!!"

She said she is "embarrassed about what I said" and "what I did was bullying".
