Two parents of adopted children talk about the support they need
There’s lots of advice and support available when you’re trying to adopt a child – but what help do adoptive parents get once their children are home?
The government’s announced £19 million will go towards helping families in England and Wales from next year, including access to therapy.
Emma adopted two children last year – a brother and sister. James adopted a baby girl a year ago, he already has two biological sons.
They both talk about the advice given when they first took their children home, including using the same household products as the foster parents.
