To mark World AIDS Day Dr Chetna Kang and Sophie Sulehria focus on HIV.

Bedford has the highest rate of HIV late diagnosis in the country.

NHS figures show that over 77% of people with HIV in the borough were diagnosed after the point they needed treatment, making their risk of dying from the disease, ten times higher.

This week Sophie and Chetna meet a woman from Hertfordshire who was diagnosed with HIV just 6 months ago and a mother whose 14 year old daughter has HIV.

We also find out how hospitals can prevent babies born to infected mothers, becoming HIV positive.
