This is made with the vineyard鈥檚 award-winning Shepherd鈥檚 Delight medium ros茅 wine and is

the perfect antidote to heavy Christmas food. Light and refreshing it鈥檚 excellent year round.

175 ml water

140g caster sugar

340ml Shepherd鈥檚 Delight ros茅 wine

1. Heat the water, sugar and cinnamon in a medium pan over a low heat, stirring to

dissolve the sugar completely. Remove from the heat and stir in the wine.

2. Cool to room temperature, remove the cinnamon stick and refrigerate until cold.

3. Transfer to an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer鈥檚

instructions. Because of the alcohol content the sorbet will be soft initially, but once

it鈥檚 been in the freezer for a few hours it will get to the right consistency
