I was a Doctor at Spandau Prison, 1952 - home to Rudolf Hess
When he was a young doctor in 1952, Eric Sturdy found himself seconded to Berlin's Spandau Prison - which housed seven high-ranking Nazi war criminals, including Rudolf Hess. He tells Roy his story, and reveals details of his new book - "Hess? Which Hess?", which explores his time at the prison and examines conspiracy theories which propose Hess was replaced by an impostor prior to the Nuremberg Trials.
