Is playing sport worth it with the risk of injury?
The death of Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes last week focussed the world's attention on sporting head injuries, and what can be done to try to prevent them.
Earlier this year (in June) a group of MP's in the UK released a report calling on governing bodies to minimise the danger of head injuries in sport - called "Concussion can Kill"
They called on ALL sporting National Governing Bodies to come together to help protect themselves from potential lawsuits - and to protect their participants from harm.
Well here in Jersey, local footballer Stephen Coleman suffered a severe injury to his cheekbone after an accidental challenge during a match.
He applied to the JFA's insurance scheme for help with his medical bills but was told his injury wasn't covered under the policy.
He spoke about about his experience to 大象传媒 Radio Jersey's Kevin Pamplin.
