I survived the Kenyan bus attack
**You may find this account distressing.**
Douglas Ochwodho Ondari is incredibly lucky to be alive. When the bus he was travelling on in northern Kenya was attacked by gunmen from the Somali militant group Al Shabab, he was made to lie on the ground with twenty seven other non-Muslim passengers, including his wife, who were all shot dead. He told Outlook's Matthew Bannister he survived only because he was covered in other people's blood, and the gunmen thought he was dead.
