Patients denied life saving cancer treatment

The mother of a young woman who was denied cancer treatment which she hoped would save her life says her daughter was let down by the NHS. Nadejah Williams suffered from a rare form of colon cancer and her consultant recommended she underwent stereotactic radiotherapy or SABR for short. But she was denied the treatment and when the family eventually won an appeal, her cancer was too advanced. She later died. Her mother Michelle told Adrian Goldberg about the day last year when her daughter asked to see the machine she hoped would help her beat the disease.
