Monty Python Star John Cleese
John Cleese is best known as one of the stars of the surreal British TV comedy series Monty Python, which gained fans all over the world. The Python team also made feature films, including The Life Of Brian, and John went on to create and star in Fawlty Towers, a TV comedy set in a seaside hotel, which was inspired by his own childhood in the English resort town of Weston-Super-Mare. Now aged 75, John Cleese is still working. Earlier this year, Monty Python re-formed for a series of live shows; he's just published his autobiography and set off on a promotional tour of the USA and Europe. When that tour reached the Outlook studio, Matthew Bannister asked John how many interviews he'd done so far?
