Mervyn King goes back to school to talk about social mobility
Our guest editor Mervyn King graduated with a first from Cambridge rose to become governor of the Bank of England.
However this illustrious career had humble beginnings in Wolverhampton where he attended the local grammar school. It's school education that Lord King wanted us to focus on, to try to understand how aspiration is learnt and how schools can promote social mobility.
