Lenny Henry on diversity in the media
Lenny Henry, guest editor of the Today programme on Tuesday, has shared his ideas on how to improve ethnic minority representation in the media.
He told the programme: "I think diversity is about working class diaspora getting the chance to do something that they probably wouldn't have been able to do."
"I think it's a springboard. We want a break. We're not asking for a handout, we're asking for a leg-up."
First broadcast 30 December 2014.
