Derby is the UK's number one high tech city with 12% of the city鈥檚 population being employed within high tech jobs. Maintaining that position means attracting young people into engineering apprenticeships, which is exactly what The Derby Manufacturing University Technical College hopes to do when it opens its doors to its first student intake this September.
