Freda Payne is known for her classic song Band of Gold, but she also has her roots in Jazz, which is reflected in her new album Come Back to Me Love.

Freda was born and raised in Detroit, a city well know for its black American music. In this extract 大象传媒 Radio Manchester鈥檚 Karan Gabay speaks to the music legend. They begin by talking about what it was like for Freda when she first came to the UK in the 1960s.
