Jazz Singer Trudy Kerr Talks
Talking to Trudy Kerr about her tenth album since she moved to the UK from Australia. There's music from the Original Dixieland Jass Band right through to Arturo Sandoval
As well as talking to Trudy Kerr there's music from Arturo Sandoval dedicated to Dizzy Gillespie plus there's a whole range of jazz right from the Original Dixieland Jass Band in 1917 to Mark Nightingale and Alistair White in 2014. We also hear from Elaine Delmar, Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone and Bob Dorough. Instrumentally there's music from Urbie Green, Tommy Newsom with Ken Peplowski and we briefly remember Clark Terry who died on February 21st. More music from Clark Terry in future programmes.
