A Song of Protest for Eric Garner
American group The Peace Poets wrote their song "I Can't Breathe" as a tribute to Eric Garner - a black man who died after being placed in an apparent stranglehold by a white New York police officer. Newsday spoke to guitarist Frank Lopez and frontman, Luke Nephew.
