Luton is one of the most diverse areas in the country. The work that the police do often hinges on building good relationships with local communities.

However recently some of those relationships have become strained, with over a hundred mainly black and Asian people marching in Luton to vent their frustration at the police last month.

The man in charge of maintaining and building relationships with communities in the area is Inspector Hob Hoque. In this extract he speaks to Yasmeen Khan on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three Counties Radio about some of the challenges he faces…
