Activist: Australian greyhound racing 'should be banned'
Australia's greyhound racing industry is facing outrage after a television report showing illegal live baiting during training sessions.
Secret filming for the report, carried out by Hayley Cotton from Animal Liberation Queensland, shows live piglets, possums and rabbits being chased and eventually killed by dogs
Ms Cotton said "most of the animals" were "used to the point" where they died from their injuries rather than "being put out of their misery."
"It's not a sport that is socially acceptable anymore, it has inherent cruelty and it should be banned in this country."
