The drive to get more women into the cockpit

Why are there so few female pilots? Just over two thirds of women say they were put off a career as an airline pilot when they were growing up.

The reasons given included that they thought women could only be cabin crew, and that they heard time and time again that flying was 'a man's job'.

Now British Airways wants more women to apply to its Future Pilots Scheme. Jane Prendergast investigates.
