Two former Foreign Secretaries - Malcolm Rifkind and Jack Straw - were secretly filmed offering their services to a fake Chinese firm in return for cash.
Yesterday Malcolm Rifkind announced he would stand down as an MP, although he insists he has done nothing wrong.
So what are the current rules? And who's earning what?
