As part of our series looking at 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Tom Bateman went to Tottenham to see what has changed since the riots devastated the area in 2011.
Chris Hall runs a school for children expelled from mainstream education and thinks interest in solving some of the problems people in the area face has waned.
"There are not sufficient funds available to launch initiatives for the young people of Haringey that are actively, and actually going to get them into jobs and at the end of the day, jobs is the answer to most of the problems we face," he said.
Stafford Scott, pictured above, says the examples set by the establishment aren't ones which will necessarily prevent future civil disobedience.
"When you see the bankers that have put this country in the state that it's been put in and not one of them convicted of carrying out any kind of crime...it gives you an attitude that there's nothing wrong in trying to make a little bit extra for yourself and for your pocket," he said.
