Scottish Highlands: Liberal Democrat - SNP battleground
As part of our series of 100 constituencies in the 100 days to the election, James Naughtie went to two of Scotland's Highland constituencies.
The parliamentary seats of Ross, Skye and Lochaber and Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey where two prominent Liberal Democrat members, Charles Kennedy and Danny Alexander's seats are under threat from the SNP.
In Inverness, which voted against independence, former chairman of Danny Alexander's constituency party Glynis Sinclair is now an SNP councillor.
Though she has hopes SNP candidate Drew Hendry could steal the seat she is taking nothing for granted.
"I would be a fool to say that I was 100% sure that the SNP were going to take it... it's a hard road between now and the 7 May for all the parties in this constituency," she said.
