Does the UK have enough homes?
Thousands are expected at a rally in London calling for more homes to be built in the UK.
Chief Executive at the National Housing Federation, David Orr says housing stock is not being used effectively enough.
"We're obsessed by bedrooms, anywhere else in the world people think about how much habitable space there is...we just ask how many bedrooms there are" he said.
Professor Danny Dorling is Professor of Geography at the University of Oxford suggests housing could be built on the green belt so that people live closer to work.
"At the moment our green belt is no longer green we need to take a small nibble out of it on the side of our big towns and cities so that more people can get to work without having to drive a car," he said.
