Netball: Not for All?
Netball is most unusual in sport. It is one of very few sports where men and women directly compete against each other. The Australian men鈥檚 national team regularly plays the women鈥檚 national team, and in the Southern Hemisphere men鈥檚 and mixed netball continues to grow.
So why did Molly Rhone, head of netball鈥檚 world governing body, say 鈥淭he International Federation does not promote Netball as a men鈥檚 game, and I make no apologies for it.鈥
