Loughborough: politicians struggle to lay foundations of trust
As part of the programme's series visiting 100 seats in the 100 days until the election, Zoe Conway visits a Screwfix DIY shop in Loughborough, a Conservative seat lost by Labour in the 2010 election.
Tradesmen Paul Martin, pictured above, thinks the state of the economy matters more than other issues: 鈥淎nybody who鈥檚 going to vote this time really ought to sit down in their armchair鈥 and have a serious think about the economy鈥.
Jeff is a carpenter and joiner who, like many people, is distrustful of all politicians: 鈥 There鈥檚 not enough honesty鈥 you don鈥檛 quite get what it says on the tin鈥.
