Bridgwater and West Somerset: Nuclear party politics
As part of the programme's series covering 100 seats in the 100 days to the election, Tom Bateman visits Bridgwater and West Somerset where the Conservatives are mired by political in fighting.
The constituency is the site of a planned new nuclear power plant, Hinkley Point C as the old plant, Point B, needs to be decommissioned in the next decade.
A safe Conservative seat, it has been the site of a dispute between members of the party; Tim Taylor, leader of West Somerset council was airbrushed out of an image on the website of local MP Ian Liddell-Grainger.
Lance Duddridge, a local shopkeeper in Bridgwater, and former deputy chairman of the local Conservative association, is firmly behind the MP.
"He is a good constituent MP, he works the town hard, he's popular in the town," he said.
